    Power practice match

According to the website there will be a reserves game against the Hills Eagles 11am Saturday at Lakeside Oval as well as the senior game against Poor Power.

Smith back for a part game in the seniors, Mattner part game either seniors or reserves and Morton playing in the reserves.

Rampe will get another game in the seniors, he is obviously first choice of the newies to get a senior game. Twitter traffic suggests he is about to be upgraded to the main list.

Mention also that Mitchell has been training well and should see ressies action soon, fingers crossed. If he can stay fit, Mitchell will be an important player for us this year.

Mitchell is being brought along nicely according to the coach. He is a young player experiencing soft tissue injury, something quite a few of them do early in their career. The trick is not to bring them back too early. We probably rushed it just slightly last year. It will be nice to see Smithy out there. Obviously Mitch is not quite ready for seniors yet and will probably only get a short hit out in the Twos. Same with Marty if he plays at all. We will see tonight anyway. Be interesting what fringe and new players go to Adelaide.

    Just an update. Matt Cameron says both Marty & Smithy will play;

Who will be rested this week? I reckon Jude will get a rest as he played a full game last week. Neither Teddy or Reg can have a rest now that AJ is injured and Marsh and Dick haven't played and NAB cup.

Lets hope Mitchell gets game time from this week, no matter where it might be. The sooner we see this boy playing regular footy the better.

Don't like the ankle bit with Ted.

1 week out, and with Richards missing (and of course AJ), it would seem LRT is destined to bolster the defence.

By my reckoning, that leaves only quality forwards in Reid, Goodes and McGlynn.

With Pyke also missing this week, ruck/forward tall will be shared by Mumford, White and Walsh.

All the midfield champions will start, and that means we will (again) be counting on them for plenty of the scoring.

It's a different injury, according to Horse.

Good to see Mattner and Smith in.

Today's finicky point: Didn't Johnson do his ACL?

    We'll have to sack Ugg.
Nothing like a good light bulb moment.

    My A key is broken

Think Walsh might get a run in defence this week? Or will Lockyer or Brown be the ersatz replacement for Teddy?
